What’s On …

Just a few little notes about what’s on my playlist, my nightstand, and my stove these days.

On my playlist: I’ve been listening to a Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors station on Pandora a lot lately, which is how I discovered this Ben Rector song, The Men That Drive me Places. It’s stories, and music, and gratitude all in one little four-minute package. And as someone who spends a lot of time with Uber drivers, this really, really hits home. So much truth.

On my nightstand: I started reading Meg Cabot’s Royal Wedding while I was on vacationIMG_2477 at the end of May. It is the absolute perfect, light, relaxing, fun beach read. I’m finishing it up back at home and pretending my toes are still in the sand.

On my stove: America’s Favorite Grocery Store just opened sort of near where I live. There has been much excitement about this (by which I means LOTS of pictures in my Facebook feed), especially from friends who live closer to it. On Saturday my husband and I had another errand in that part of town and thus decided to visit the new grocery mecca. I was concerned it wouldn’t live up to the hype– but it did. It’s a happy, happy, place for food lovers. We brought home a ready to heat and serve low county boil, some super fancy mushroom ravioli and a chocolate bar. By which I mean, we showed great restraint.

So, what’s new and good in your world these days? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
