Day of the Dead celebrations appeal to my inner existentialist in a big way. I have yet to attend one or throw my own, but I love the idea of pausing to remember and celebrate the lives of those we’ve lost. The key concepts here, in my opinion, being pause and celebrate. I think one of the best things we can do to commemorate lives lost is to make a commitment to living fully ourselves. So today I’m throwing my own little celebration by acknowledging two things that have inspired me towards the goal of living fully in the last year:
Neil Pasricha’s TED Talk and the Holstee Manifesto.
Enjoy your day!
